How funny- I saw your blog from a link on another blog, too :-) I am actually going to Egypt, and saw Palace Walk on your list of books for one of the challenges. I am taking it with me (hopefully my sister will be done with it by then), so I'll let you know what I think! I also have the second book in the series, Palace of Desire.

Aarti Isn't the blogosphere a great place to make new friends? :) I'm jealous you're going to Egypt! We spent 10 years in Dubai and planned a trip to Egypt countless times but never ever made it :( A few of us will be reading "The Palace Walk" - it will be such fun to compare notes. Enjoy the trip!!!

Lotus, Thank-you for the holiday wishes. The video, bookmark and card arrived. Thank-you for much for sharing. Husband and I will watch Water during the holidays, on one of those quiet, layed back days I'm hoping for, but will be lucky to have. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Sorry about no snow - we have more than usual and it is beautiful. Now if it will just melt in Jan.
