I think I must have learnt it by heart once since I could remember it all. It's weird because I'm not so keen on poetry and never remembered anything I learnt at school, to my great shame. BTW I remember Abou Ben Adam and O Captain My Captain from school too. <br /><br />Albert Tennyson's "Home they brought her warrior dead" used to move me to tears. I loved William Wordsworth's "Daffodils" and "Psalm of Life" by H. W. I always thought that to be interesting and started to memorize short poetry for that reason and well it kinda worked.
